Back-End Engineer, Fraud
About This Role
As a Back-End Engineer specializing in Fraud, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our platform and users from malicious activities. You will develop and refine systems that detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud, directly contributing to the trust and security that define Blockchain.com.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and maintain scalable back-end services for fraud detection and prevention.
Design and implement APIs and data pipelines to integrate with various fraud tools and data sources.
Collaborate with data scientists and analytics teams to improve fraud models and strategies.
Optimize system performance and ensure high availability of fraud prevention mechanisms.
Contribute to architecture discussions and drive technical decisions related to fraud systems.
What We're Looking For
Strong experience in back-end development with a focus on building robust, scalable systems.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C++).
Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Bonus Points
Experience in fraud detection, risk management, or security in a financial or crypto context.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
