About This Role
This is a rare opportunity to shape the commercial trajectory of a next-generation distributed ledger platform from the ground up. As Chief Business Officer, you'll sit at the intersection of fintech, crypto, and property investment, architecting partnerships that define how real-world assets move on-chain. You'll have direct influence over strategy, revenue growth, and the ecosystem relationships that power adoption of tokenized assets.
What You'll Be Doing
Define and execute the commercial roadmap for a new RWA tokenization platform spanning blockchain infrastructure, DeFi, and traditional finance
Forge strategic partnerships with wallet providers, payment networks, custodians, and blockchain infrastructure companies
Build relationships with institutional investors, financial institutions, and property firms to drive capital inflow into tokenized real estate products
Lead business development efforts across the web3 and digital asset ecosystem to accelerate platform growth
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, legal, and engineering teams to align commercial strategy with smart contract capabilities and compliance requirements
Represent the company at industry events, positioning it as a leader in asset tokenization and decentralized finance
What We're Looking For
Proven senior commercial leadership experience, ideally as a CBO, Head of BD, or similar within blockchain, fintech, or crypto
Deep understanding of digital assets, tokenization frameworks, and distributed systems commercial models
Track record of closing high-value partnerships with financial institutions, infrastructure providers, or investment firms
Strong network across crypto, DeFi, and traditional capital markets
Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with ambiguity
Bonus Points
Experience specifically in real estate tokenization or RWA-focused platforms
Familiarity with smart contract-based investment structures
Existing relationships with wallet, custody, or payment platforms in the web3 space
Background working alongside regulators or compliance teams in tokenized securities
