Senior Fraud Risk Manager

What You'll Be Doing
Design and implement robust fraud detection frameworks tailored to crypto trading, DeFi products, and digital-asset transactions
Analyze transaction patterns across blockchain networks to identify emerging fraud typologies and bad actors
Partner with compliance, legal, and engineering teams to strengthen smart contract-related risk controls and platform integrity
Lead investigations into suspicious account activity, coordinating with law enforcement and regulatory bodies when necessary
Build scalable policies and procedures that balance user experience with fraud prevention in a decentralized, high-growth environment
Mentor junior risk analysts and foster a culture of vigilance and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
5+ years of fraud risk management experience, ideally within crypto, fintech, or traditional banking sectors
Strong understanding of blockchain technology, digital-asset transaction flows, and common fraud vectors in web3
Proven analytical skills with experience using data tools to detect anomalies and fraudulent behavior
Excellent judgment and decision-making ability in ambiguous, fast-moving situations
Strong communication skills to collaborate across legal, compliance, and product teams
Bachelor's degree in finance, criminal justice, risk management, or related field
Bonus Points
Experience with DeFi protocols, smart contract auditing, or on-chain analytics platforms
Professional certifications such as CFE, CAMS, or CFCS
Familiarity with global AML/KYC regulations as applied to crypto exchanges
Prior experience at a crypto-native company or distributed systems organization
