As a Summer Intern on our Technical Investigations Support team, you'll gain hands-on exposure to how decentralized systems are scrutinized by experts with deep law enforcement and technical backgrounds—learning skills that sit at the intersection of blockchain, cybersecurity, and investigative science.
What You'll Be Doing
Support senior investigators in analyzing complex blockchain transaction flows and smart contracts tied to active cases
Assist in researching DeFi protocols, crypto exchanges, and distributed ledger activity relevant to ongoing investigations
Help compile technical findings into clear, digestible reports for legal and corporate stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to organize case data and investigative evidence
Stay current on emerging web3 trends, crypto laundering techniques, and blockchain forensic tools
Contribute to internal research initiatives exploring new decentralized technologies and their investigative implications
What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, cybersecurity, finance, or a related technical field
Genuine curiosity about blockchain, crypto, and distributed systems
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Comfort navigating ambiguity and complex technical material
Bonus Points
Prior coursework or projects involving blockchain analytics or smart contracts
Familiarity with crypto exchanges, wallets, or on-chain data tools
Interest in law enforcement, compliance, or digital forensics
Experience with programming languages like Python or SQL
