What You'll Be Doing
Lead security architecture and engineering strategy across blockchain, DeFi, and digital asset platforms
Design and implement robust security frameworks for smart contracts and distributed systems
Partner with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed security-by-design principles into blockchain solutions
Evaluate emerging threats within the crypto and web3 ecosystem, proactively mitigating risks
Mentor and build a high-performing security engineering team focused on decentralized technologies
Represent security engineering in cross-functional and executive discussions on blockchain strategy
What We're Looking For
10+ years in security engineering, with significant experience in blockchain, distributed ledger, or crypto environments
Deep understanding of smart contract vulnerabilities, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized architecture risks
Proven leadership experience building and scaling security teams
Strong grasp of cryptographic principles, key management, and secure protocol design
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and executive audiences
Experience operating within regulated, large-scale payment or financial infrastructure
Bonus Points
Hands-on experience auditing or securing DeFi protocols
Familiarity with Ethereum, Hyperledger, or other leading blockchain frameworks
Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, or blockchain security credentials)
Contributions to open-source security or web3 initiatives
