We're looking for a hands-on builder who thrives at the intersection of distributed systems engineering and market design. As a founding engineer, you won't just write code—you'll define the architecture, security posture, and economic logic of a settlement protocol built to scale. What You'll Be Doing
Architect and deploy robust smart contracts that power the core settlement layer
Design and integrate oracle solutions to ensure reliable, tamper-resistant data feeds
Translate complex market mechanics into secure, efficient on-chain logic
Drive protocol design decisions spanning tokenomics, risk parameters, and settlement flows
Collaborate directly with founders to shape technical roadmap and product strategy
Own the full lifecycle—from whiteboard concept to mainnet deployment
What We're Looking For
Proven experience building and shipping smart contracts on Ethereum or similar distributed ledger platforms
Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, market mechanisms, and on-chain settlement systems
Strong grasp of smart contract security best practices and common attack vectors
Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments typical of early-stage crypto startups
Excellent communication skills and a founder's mindset—bias toward ownership and action
Experience with Solidity and modern smart contract development frameworks
Bonus Points
Prior experience designing or integrating oracle networks
Background in quantitative finance, market making, or derivatives protocols
Contributions to open-source web3 projects or published protocol research
Familiarity with Layer 2 scaling solutions and cross-chain architecture
