About This Role
We're searching for a Frontend Engineer who thrives at the intersection of elegant design and complex distributed systems. You'll shape the interfaces institutional traders and partners use to interact with our on-chain prime brokerage platform and Upshift, our vaults-as-a-service product. This is a rare opportunity to build mission-critical UI for real capital flows moving through smart contracts at scale — not a demo, a production system handling billions in volume.
What You'll Be Doing
Architect and ship performant, intuitive interfaces for our DeFi and prime brokerage products
Translate complex onchain data and smart contract interactions into clear, trustworthy user experiences
Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and protocol teams to ship fast without sacrificing reliability
Build reusable component systems that scale across multiple blockchain-native products
Optimize for performance and security given the high-stakes, high-volume nature of institutional crypto flows
Contribute to technical decisions shaping the future of our web3 frontend architecture
What We're Looking For
4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, ideally with React, TypeScript, or similar modern frameworks
Demonstrated experience building production interfaces that interact with smart contracts or blockchain data
Strong understanding of wallet integrations, transaction flows, and the nuances of decentralized applications
A sharp eye for UI/UX detail paired with the engineering discipline to ship clean, maintainable code
Comfort operating in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities evolve quickly
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Bonus Points
Prior experience in DeFi, crypto trading platforms, or institutional fintech products
Familiarity with EVM-based chains, web3 libraries (ethers.js, viem, wagmi), and onchain data indexing
Experience building dashboards or tools involving large-scale financial or distributed ledger data
Contributions to open-source blockchain or web3 projects
