What You'll Be Doing
Automate the complete server lifecycle — provisioning, OS installs, configuration, hardware validation, and decommissioning
Build internal tooling that lets engineers interact with the fleet without ever hand-configuring a machine
Standardize CI pipelines, build artifacts, deploy tooling, and rollback mechanisms across our smart contract-adjacent infrastructure
Drive our security roadmap: SSO-based access, jump hosts, secrets management, least-privilege policies, and audit logging
Analyze infrastructure costs — per workload, per provider — and turn findings into concrete hardware and architecture decisions
Strengthen observability and participate in on-call rotations and incident response
Document runbooks so a fully remote, distributed team can operate what you build
What We're Looking For
Extreme ownership — you treat infrastructure as yours, automate away repetitive work, and operate with speed and accountability
3+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles
Hands-on bare-metal experience: PXE, IPMI/BMC, RAID, NICs, colo/dedicated providers, and hardware vs. software debugging
Deep Linux fundamentals — systemd, networking, storage, performance tuning
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible, Terraform, Salt, or Nix
Scripting/programming fluency in Python, Go, or Bash
A security-first mindset around access control, blast radius, and secrets management
Bonus Points
Rust experience or comfort reading/debugging Rust-based services
Familiarity with blockchain node infrastructure, validators, or RPC systems
Exposure to high-throughput, low-latency distributed ledger environments
Interest in DeFi, decentralized applications, or crypto-native tooling
