About This Role
This is a rare opportunity to lead DevOps strategy for a next-generation digital assets platform at one of the financial industry's most trusted infrastructure providers. You'll architect the automation, reliability, and scalability backbone that supports blockchain-based settlement systems, crypto asset custody solutions, and decentralized finance integrations—all while mentoring a talented engineering team pushing the boundaries of distributed systems.
What You'll Be Doing
Architect and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines supporting blockchain nodes, smart contract deployments, and digital asset infrastructure
Lead automation initiatives across cloud and hybrid environments to ensure high availability for crypto and DeFi-adjacent platforms
Partner with engineering, security, and product teams to design resilient, scalable systems for distributed ledger applications
Drive observability, monitoring, and incident response strategies tailored to blockchain network uptime and performance
Mentor junior DevOps engineers while setting technical direction for infrastructure-as-code and containerization practices
Evaluate and implement emerging tools within the Web3 and crypto infrastructure ecosystem
What We're Looking For
7+ years of DevOps/SRE experience, with demonstrated exposure to blockchain, crypto, or digital asset environments
Deep expertise in CI/CD tooling, Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible)
Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and smart contract deployment workflows
Proven leadership experience guiding engineering teams through complex technical initiatives
Excellent communication skills for collaborating across security, compliance, and product stakeholders
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, regulated financial environment undergoing digital transformation
Bonus Points
Hands-on experience with blockchain node operations, validator infrastructure, or custody solutions
Familiarity with DeFi protocols, tokenization frameworks, or digital asset settlement systems
Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or blockchain-specific credentials
Background working within regulated fintech or capital markets infrastructure
