What You'll Be Doing
Architect and ship new features and enhancements across our core blockchain protocol
Write secure, efficient smart contracts and help maintain a growing suite of decentralized applications (dApps)
Partner closely with our research division to translate novel cryptographic and consensus concepts into deployable protocol upgrades
Harden network infrastructure for scalability, security, and sustained high performance under real-world conditions
Conduct thorough code reviews and champion engineering best practices across the team
Troubleshoot and resolve complex protocol-level issues as the network scales
What We're Looking For
Proven experience designing or contributing to blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, or distributed systems
Strong proficiency in smart contract development and associated tooling
Solid grasp of cryptographic primitives, network security, and decentralized architecture principles
Comfort working in fast-paced, research-driven environments where specs evolve quickly
Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience in crypto/web3 engineering
Bonus Points
Contributions to open-source blockchain projects or protocol clients
Deep familiarity with DeFi primitives, Layer 1/Layer 2 ecosystems, or interoperability frameworks
Experience with formal verification or security auditing of smart contracts
Background in distributed systems research or academic publications in cryptography
