This is a hands-on, infrastructure-first engineering position centered on Layer-1 blockchain integration, wallet engineering, and custody workflows. You'll operate at the intersection of blockchain protocols, security, and distributed systems, building the foundational plumbing that makes secure crypto custody possible. If you're energized by solving hard problems at the core of web3 infrastructure, this role offers outsized impact.
What You'll Be Doing
Design and build core blockchain infrastructure components that integrate directly with multiple Layer-1 networks
Develop and maintain wallet engineering systems supporting secure key management and transaction signing
Partner closely with Crypto Custody Lead Engineers and Crypto Security Engineers to harden custody-related blockchain workflows
Build resilient node infrastructure and blockchain data pipelines to support tokenization products
Implement and test smart contracts and on-chain interaction logic supporting asset custody and DeFi-adjacent features
Troubleshoot and optimize blockchain integrations across diverse distributed ledger protocols
What We're Looking For
5+ years of software engineering experience, with significant time spent on blockchain, crypto, or distributed systems projects
Deep understanding of Layer-1 blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and node operations
Hands-on experience with wallet infrastructure, key management, or custody-grade transaction systems
Strong proficiency in backend languages (Go, Rust, Java, or similar) used in blockchain engineering
Solid grasp of cryptographic principles and security best practices applicable to crypto asset protection
Excellent collaboration skills and comfort working cross-functionally with security and custody teams
Bonus Points
Experience writing or auditing smart contracts across EVM or non-EVM chains
Familiarity with DeFi protocols, tokenization standards, or multi-chain architectures
Prior work within a regulated custody, fintech, or crypto-security environment
Contributions to open-source blockchain or web3 projects
