About This Role
This is a rare opportunity to shape institutional adoption of DeFi at the highest level, reporting directly to CEO Hayden Adams. You'll operate at the intersection of corporate strategy, partnership development, and blockchain innovation—building the bridge between legacy finance and permissionless, smart contract-powered markets.
What You'll Be Doing
Define and drive institutional strategy, uncovering novel use cases where Uniswap's decentralized infrastructure complements existing financial institution workflows
Build go-to-market motions spanning segmentation, commercial models, pipeline generation, and long-term partner success
Source and close strategic partnerships with banks, asset managers, and funds entering the crypto and tokenization space
Own institutional growth targets, identifying new pathways for volume, liquidity, and distribution across the Uniswap ecosystem
Translate market intelligence on DeFi, stablecoins, and digital asset trends into actionable product and partnership roadmaps
Serve as the cross-functional business lead, aligning Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, and Marketing to convert institutional opportunities into signed deals
Cultivate executive relationships across traditional finance, fintech, and digital asset organizations to position Uniswap as critical distributed ledger infrastructure
What We're Looking For
7+ years in business development, partnerships, or strategy within fintech, capital markets, or financial infrastructure
Proven success closing complex, high-value partnerships with enterprise or institutional clients
Experience launching new markets, business lines, or GTM motions from scratch
Deep understanding of how banks, broker-dealers, and asset managers evaluate emerging technology, including blockchain and smart contracts
Strong commercial judgment balanced with hands-on execution and negotiation skills
Executive presence capable of earning trust with senior leaders at sophisticated financial institutions
Bonus Points
Direct experience in crypto, DeFi, tokenization, stablecoins, or quantitative trading infrastructure
Background spanning both traditional finance and high-growth technology organizations
Track record building and leading small, high-impact growth teams
Established network across banks, payments companies, trading firms, and asset managers
