This isn't a routine SOC gig. You'll be embedded in a hyper-growth security organization safeguarding the rails of institutional crypto and decentralized finance, hunting sophisticated threats and architecting automated defenses at scale. What You'll Be Doing
Serve as the escalation anchor for high-severity security alerts, running deep DFIR investigations and dissecting attacker tradecraft across distributed ledger infrastructure
Drive SecOps initiatives end-to-end, from concept through rollout and long-term upkeep
Mentor fellow security engineers, sharing technical depth in a fast-moving, blockchain-native environment
Explore telemetry and tooling innovations to sharpen triage speed and automated incident response
Partner cross-functionally to build and refine agentic workflows powering next-gen automated SecOps
Lead containment, forensic analysis, and stakeholder coordination during live incidents
Produce executive-level incident reports with root-cause breakdowns and actionable remediation plans
What We're Looking For
5+ years in Incident Response or a SOC environment, managing escalations and incident documentation
Proven track record running security incident lifecycles within 24/7 global production environments
Experience building runbooks for recurring and high-severity incident categories
Solid coding/scripting chops (Python, Bash) with experience shipping production-grade automation
Deep knowledge of attack vectors and mitigation strategies across cloud and SaaS ecosystems
Strong forensic fluency across Windows and Linux/Unix systems, including artifact analysis
A collaborative communicator with a sharp, growth-oriented problem-solving mindset
Bonus Points
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
macOS forensics experience
Practical understanding of LLM architectures and their application in security automation
Familiarity with smart contracts, DeFi protocols, or broader crypto/web3 security landscapes
