About This Role
We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and scale the trading infrastructure that underpins our distributed ledger ecosystem. This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of high-frequency systems engineering and blockchain innovation, building tools that make decentralized finance faster, safer, and more accessible to mainstream users.
What You'll Be Doing
Design and build low-latency trading infrastructure that interfaces directly with smart contracts and on-chain liquidity protocols
Architect resilient, high-throughput systems capable of processing crypto transactions at massive scale
Collaborate cross-functionally with protocol engineers, DeFi product teams, and security researchers to ship robust trading tools
Optimize backend systems for speed, reliability, and correctness in a 24/7 decentralized trading environment
Drive technical decisions around system architecture, data pipelines, and integration with web3 trading venues
Mentor fellow engineers and help cultivate engineering excellence across the trading infrastructure org
What We're Looking For
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in trading systems, fintech, or distributed systems
Strong proficiency in Rust, Go, C++, or similar performance-oriented languages
Deep understanding of distributed systems design, concurrency, and low-latency architecture
Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals—consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, and on-chain data structures
Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous crypto environment
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, ownership-driven mindset
Bonus Points
Direct experience building or integrating with DeFi protocols, DEXs, or on-chain order books
Prior work on blockchain cores, validator infrastructure, or consensus protocols
Exposure to the Move programming language or other smart contract languages
Background in quantitative trading, market-making, or exchange infrastructure
