About This Role
As Senior DevOps Engineering Manager, you will lead a critical team responsible for deploying and maintaining high-performance, secure, and reliable blockchain nodes across dozens of protocols. This role offers the opportunity to drive new chain launches and ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced Web3 environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers maintaining production blockchain nodes across their lifecycle.
Own and drive new chain launches from genesis, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are coordinated.
Serve as project manager for team deliverables, ensuring tasks are tracked, prioritized, and executed.
Maintain high visibility into the status of all chain launches and upgrades, providing clear updates to leadership.
Proactively escalate risks, scope shifts, or missing inputs with clarity and urgency.
Manage team workflows, including Jira boards, retrospectives, and delivery tracking to improve velocity and execution quality.
Maintain a high bar for operational readiness, including on-call processes, monitoring, and incident response.
Support and grow your team through 1:1s, feedback, performance reviews, and development planning.
Foster a team culture grounded in accountability, urgency, and ownership.
Collaborate with stakeholders across protocol, product, and customer teams to align on priorities.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience leading and mentoring DevOps engineering teams.
Strong project management skills, particularly in time-sensitive, complex deployments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
A bias for ownership, urgency, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
Deep understanding of operational readiness, on-call processes, monitoring, and incident response.
