About This Role
As the APAC Base Social Media Manager, you will be instrumental in expanding Base's digital footprint across a vital region. This is a unique opportunity to shape the brand's voice and community engagement in a rapidly evolving market, connecting with builders, creators, and traders.
What You'll Be Doing
Own and execute Base’s social media presence and regional content strategies across X, Telegram, WeChat, TikTok, and emerging platforms in APAC.
Localize global campaigns for APAC audiences, ensuring cultural relevance and brand consistency through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Grow and engage the regional community by connecting with builders, creators, and traders.
Monitor sentiment and trends in regional crypto markets and communities, translating insights into actionable content or campaigns.
Create and direct content, tailoring it for multiple social platforms.
What We're Looking For
Deep immersion in crypto culture, actively following onchain trends and narratives daily.
3+ years of experience in social media management within crypto, tech, or Web3 startups.
Additional experience in growth marketing, content creation, or community-led growth.
Experience in growing or managing crypto communities in APAC.
Strong communication skills with the ability to write clearly, with personality, and adjust tone for different audiences.
Fluent in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken).
Bonus Points
Existing relationships with builders, creators, and KOLs in the APAC crypto space.
Fluency in additional APAC languages.
